The 2023 L'umami Pinot Noir is super expressive. Aromas of red berries, strawberry pie, leather, cedar, and subtle oak on the nose. The palate is focused with blue & black fruits, semi-sweet chocolate, cherry, and silky tannins with a complex finish.
The fruit was sourced from carefully farmed estate vineyards in the Willamette Valley AVA. The grapes were destemmed and underwent a two-day soak prior to fermentation for a total of 20 days of skin contact.
